Курляндский Дмитрий Александрович
Родился в Москве в 1976 году. Окончил МГК им. Чайковского и аспирантуру у Леонида Бобылева. Его сочинения были отмечены на конкурсах в России, Франции, Англии. Победитель международного конкурса Гаудеамус в Голландии (2003). Гость Берлинской программы для деятелей искусств (2008). Победитель Премии Джанни Бергамо в Швейцарии (2010). В 2010 – композитор ансамбля 2e2m (Франция). Победитель конкурса на оперное сочинение Иоганна Йозефа Фукса в Австрии (2011). Лауреат премии фонда Андрея Вознесенского "Парабола" 2016. Лауреат премии имени Франко Аббьяти 2017.
Опера «Астероид 62» поставлена в 2013 году в Граце (режиссер Барбара Байер) и в Москве (режиссер Капитолина Цветкова-Плотникова). Опера «Сверлийцы. Увертюра. Начало» поставлена в Москве в 2012 и 2015 годах (режиссер Борис Юхананов). Опера «Носферату» поставлена в Перми и в Москве в 2014–2015 (режиссер Теодорос Терзопулос). Премьера оперы "Октавия. Трепанация" состоялась в июне 2017 года на Голландском фестивале в постановке Бориса Юхананова. В 2017 году перформанс-инсталляция Commedia delle arti представлена в Российском павильоне Венецианского биеннале современного искусства. В 2019 в центре Вознесенского состоялась премьера оперы-инсталляции "Некийя" с видео Елены Немковой.
Дмитрий Курляндский – приглашенный профессор музыкальной академии Impuls в Граце (Австрия), композиторских курсов Sound of Wander в Милане, композиторских курсов в Руайомоне (Франция), встреч молодых композиторов в Апельдорне (Голландия), COURSE (Украина), Tzlil Meudcan (Израиль), Ticino Musica (Швейцария), Международной академии молодых композиторов в Чайковском (Россия), консерваторий в Амстердаме, Милане и Сан-Себастьяне и др. Музыка Курляндского регулярно звучит на фестивалях, включая Donaueschingen, Ruhrtriennale, MaerzMusik, Venice biennale, Musica Strasbourg, Huddersfield, Wien modern, Athens festival, Archipel, Transart, Klangspuren, Elektra Montreal, ISCM WMD, Warsaw Autumn, Территория и др. Произведения Дмитрия Курляндского издавались на лейблах FANCYMUSIC и Col Legno. Композитор сотрудничал с такими дирижерами как Теодор Курентзис, Федор Леднев, Филипп Чижевский, Дмитрий Васильев, Сюзанна Малькки, Райнберт де Леу, Роланд Клуттиг, Беат Фурер, Юрьен Хемпел, Марио Брунелло и др. Среди исполнителей – оркестры SWR, MusicAeterna, Национальный оркестр Лиона, Оркестр фонда Артуро Тосканини, Стокгольмский новый камерный оркестр, J.Futura, Московский симфонический оркестр, оркестр Омской филармонии и др., ансамбли KlangForum Wien, ASKO и Schoenberg, InterContemporain, Recherche, 2e2m, L’Itineraire, Contrechamps, KNM, Aleph, Slagwerkgroep den Haag, Champ d’action, Quatour Diotima, Kairos quartet, Sonar quartet, МАСМ, eNsemble, Студия Новой Музыки, N’Caged, Questa Musica, Наталья Пшеничникова, Татьяна Гринденко и Opus Posth и др.
Сочинения Курляндского издаются Donemus, Editions Jobert и Le Chant du Monde. Дмитрий Курляндский – основатель и главный редактор первого в России журнала, посвященного современной музыке – Трибуна Современной Музыки (2005–2009). Один из основателей группы композиторов Сопротивление Материала (СоМа). Член союза композиторов России. Художественный руководитель международной академии молодых композиторов в Чайковском. С 2013 года – музыкальный руководитель Электротеатра Станиславский
